Box Hill

Supported by Surrey Hills Arts and the National Trust

A project I have created in collaboration with Surrey Hills Arts and the National Trust, to create an event/ritual and workshop for the local LGBTQ+ community, coming together to reclaim the land as also our own and as a spiritual queer space.

Queer Quilting in Leytonstone, London

I have been awarded the grant "Make It Happen" by Waltham Forest Arts and Culture, with which I have created and run a 6-week workshop with the local LGBTQ+ community to create a quilt banner celebrating our lives in the borough, learning new skills and creating a new community. The quilt is now part of the Queer Britain museum's collection.

Queer Stone Circle in Walthamstow Marshes

I have been commissioned by the William Morris Gallery to create and run a workshop and ritual for the local queer community, to reclaim the marshes as a queer space. We've painted small rocks with eco-paint and then we went to the marshes and performed an Imbolc-inspired ritual. This was an off-site event part of the exhibition Radical Landscapes at the William Morris Gallery.
